From New Glasgow:
1. The Scenic Route: At Sutherland’s River, take Exit 27 onto Route 245. This scenic stretch of highway winds along the coastline to Malignant Cove. You can proceed on Route 245 directly to Antigonish town, or watch carefully, and, after 41 km, take the left turn onto Route 337 and continue around Cape George through Ballantyne's Cove to the community of Lakevale, a distance of about 35 km.
2. The Faster Route: From Highway 104, take Exit 33 toward Antigonish. At the roundabout, take the third exit toward Beech Hill Road. Keep right and stay on Beech Hill Road for 750 m. At the end of the road, turn left onto South River Road / Sunrise Trail / NS-4W. After 1.4 km, turn right at the lights onto Main Street, drive past St. Martha's Hospital and stay on HWY 337 for 24 km.
From Cape Breton:
To Route 337 - From Highway 104, take Exit 33 toward Antigonish. At the roundabout, take the first exit toward Beech Hill Road. Keep right and stay on Beech Hill Road for 750 m. At the end of the road, turn left onto South River Road and proceed for 1.4 km. At the traffic lights, turn left onto Main Street/ HWY 337. Drive past St. Martha's Hospital and stay on HWY 337 for 24 km.
